Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 + Bonus

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) Manager to join our team and ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
Job Summary:
As the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety. Your role will involve overseeing all aspects of EHS, conducting risk assessments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to minimize hazards and enhance safety performance.
Key Responsibilities:
EHS Program Development:
Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Stay up-to-date with EHS legislation and industry best practices.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards.
Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and prevent accidents and injuries.
Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, ensuring timely and effective corrective actions.
Training and Awareness:
Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees at all levels.
Promote a culture of safety through ongoing education and awareness initiatives.
Ensure that all employees understand and comply with EHS policies and procedures.
Environmental Compliance:
Oversee environmental compliance programs, including waste management, air emissions, and water quality.
Monitor and report on environmental performance, ensuring adherence to permits and regulations.
Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve resource efficiency.
Health and Safety Management:
Develop and enforce health and safety protocols to protect employee well-being.
Coordinate occupational health programs, including ergonomics, wellness, and injury prevention.
Maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents, training, and inspections.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improving EHS performance and implement best practices.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety culture and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into all business processes.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive EHS documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
Prepare and present EHS performance reports to senior management.
Ensure that all EHS documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and influence at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in using EHS management software and tools.
Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) are highly desirable.
