Job Summary:
The Human Resources Representative is responsible for managing daily HR functions, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring HR operations align with organizational goals and values. The HR Representative supports leadership by addressing employee needs, managing benefits and payroll, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate interviews, and hiring processes.
Lead onboarding efforts to ensure a seamless experience for new employees.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Manage employee records, payroll, and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, union agreements, and organizational policies.
Partner with leadership on employee engagement, retention strategies, and performance management.
Develop and deliver training sessions to promote workplace safety and employee development.
Support conflict resolution, mediating employee disputes in alignment with company policies.
Foster a workplace culture that reflects the organization’s mission and values.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience: At least 2 years of HR experience, with exposure to recruitment, employee relations, and compliance. Experience in a healthcare or non-profit setting is a plus.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with payroll systems is preferred.
Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, or related certifications are a plus.

Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport across the organization.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to mediate and resolve conflicts effectively.
Capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
