Emergency Dispatch Supervisor | Non-Profit | Community-Focused EMS
A leading non-profit medical transportation provider in Northeastern Ohio, is seeking a dedicated Emergency Dispatch Supervisor to oversee our 24/7 communications department. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and compassionate emergency response within our community.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Leadership: Manage a team of 15 dispatchers, with 4 personnel per shift, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Operational Oversight: Coordinate emergency call-taking and ambulance dispatch, ensuring prompt and accurate service.
Training & Development: Mentor dispatch staff, providing ongoing training to enhance performance and operational efficiency.
Interagency Coordination: Collaborate with EMS teams, hospitals, fire departments, and law enforcement for seamless emergency responses.
Technology Management: Oversee dispatch software, radio communications, and data reporting systems.
Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal emergency response protocols.

Compensation & Schedule:
Salary: $25.00 per hour, totaling $50,000 annually, plus $5,000 - $10,000 in overtime opportunities.
Schedule: Flexible shifts between 8 and 12 hours, including some weekends.
Qualifications:
Experience in emergency dispatch, 911 operations, or EMS coordination.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills with excellent communication abilities.
Proficiency with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) systems and radio communications.
In-depth knowledge of local geography and medical terminology.
Ability to remain calm and make critical decisions under pressure.
